Lil Miracles Donation June 2016

I enjoy helping local organizations typically from behind the scenes by donating items needed. Sometimes it's as simple as saving items that I'd typically throw away or recycle.  I also enjoy using my skills to make needed items as well.

This is a batch of items I made for Lil Miracles Pregnancy Resource Center (not including the doll).  I met Debbie when she first started and have had the privilege of watching it grow in leaps and bounds.  They are now a 501c3 and definitely an asset to our community.

This batch included around 30 burp cloths, 6 blankets, 8 pairs of mittens, 2 rice bags, around 30 door latch covers, some coupons and baggies.  I'd use scraps from other projects, along with cleaning out my fabric stash and buying remnants at JoAnn Fabrics.  Our local JoAnn's closed recently, so I may not be donating as often, but it's something I very much enjoy.
