Penguin Birthday Card

I made this card for my youngest daughter.  She LOVES penguins.  :)



Card Stocks:  Base:  Melon Mambo; First Layer - Marina Mist; Penquin - Basic Black, Whisper White, Pumpkin Pie, Melon Mambo; Balloons - Pumpkin Pie, Melon Mambo and Daffodil Delight


Inks:  Melon Mambo - "Happy Birthday Wishes", sponged around sentiment, sponged around party hat
        Pumpkin Pie - Sponged around feet and beak
        Bashful Blue - Sponged around white circles and clouds
        Marina Mist - Sponged around First Layer

Folder:  Perfect Polka Dots (background on First Layer) - Run through the Big Shot

Stamp Set:  Petite Pairs

Clouds:  Build-a-Cupcake Punch
Balloons:  Small Heart Punch
String for Balloons: Embroidery Floss
Punches for Penguin:  

  • 1 3/4" Circle
  • 1 3/8" Circle
  • 1 1/4" Circle
  • 1" Circle
  • Modern Label (cut off ends to use for feet)
  • Large Oval (cut in 1/2 to use for flippers)
  • Heart to Heart (small pink heart)
I adhered the clouds, penguin and balloons with Dimensials.
