Our Son the Electrician

Our son attended Lincoln College of Technology last year and finished the Electronic Service Technician program this past week.  We held his Open House yesterday.  I got so busy doing other things that I forgot to take pictures of him with family and friends.

Here is a photo of the display table:

With Grandpa's passing last week and some other things going on, I didn't put as much thought into this party as I should have.  We did a cookout with hot dogs and hamburgers.  He had a great turn out despite the heat.  Temperature was around 104 degrees.  We had it in the evening thinking it would be cooler.  It might have been a tad bit cooler than in the afternoon, but not much.  Luckily, the humidity was quite as high as the day before, but it was still HOT!!  :)

This is Bradley the day of his high school graduation in June 2011.  His graduation ceremony from Lincoln Tech will be held in November.

Here are the Cupcake Toppers I made:

His card from his dad and I:

Love this light bulb....:)  I will post directions on making this and the matching Thank You card after he gets them mailed and I know everyone has received them.

We are very proud of him.  For a child that absolutely hated school, even doing a year long program in something he enjoys was not his idea of a good time.  It was a great learning experience for many reasons and we are glad to have him back home.
