One of the problems I had was remembering which sponge was for which ink color. I'd seen where a few Stampin' Up! Demonstrators punched pieces of paper using various punches, wrote the ink color and then stapled to the sponge. The most common punch used was the Round Tab Punch (#119864). I don't have that punch, so I did mine a little different.
In Word, using Avery Sticker Label #, I typed the name of each Stampin' Up! ink color and printed on 8 1/2" x 11" white card stock. I punched them out using a 1 1/4" Circle Punch (#119861). I changed the name of each color to the actual color value for that ink color. I found the Stampin' Up! Color Value Chart on Splitcoast Stampers. If you aren't a member, it's free to join.
Using the sponges from Stampin' Up! (#101610) (they come in a package of 3), I cut each sponge into 8 pieces. I then placed one of the punched circles on the top of the sponge, folded it over, then stapled it.
I have a tall, skinny plastic cabinet with drawers that I'm storing them in. I wanted to divide them according to the color group, so I used a box that had Lipton tea bags in it.
I cut off the top and the little flaps on each side and then covered it with scrapbook paper.
