- Cut 5" strips of fabric and fold to make 5" squares
- Run through the Big Shot using the Scallop Square Die
- You will need 4 scallop squares
- Cut 2 - 3 1/4" squares of batting
- Sandwich the batting between 2 scallop squares
- Sew an "X" in the center of the squares (from corner to corner)
- Add embelishments (button, ribbon, flower, etc) to one of the quilted squares
- If you're going to hang it in a closet, pin a piece of ribbon to the inside of one of the squares
- I made a 3" square muslin bag that I filled with lavendar buds from Moonworks Apothecary and put between the 2 quilted sandwiches.
- Pin sandwiches together with muslin bag in between and sew around the outer edge
