Materials Used: Scallop Square Die, Big Shot, Assorted Printed Paper, Scallop Circle Punch, Scallop Square Punch, Eyelet Border Punch. The stamped image is from a retired SU set from the mid 90's, Stampin' Write Journaler.
I adhered 16 - 1 1/4" squares of patterned and solid papers on a 5" x 5" piece of white card stock, then ran through the Big Shot with the Scallop Square Die. The solid colors of card stock I ran through a decorative folder (non-SU) on the Big Shot before cutting into squares. Top and Bottom Edges were done with the Eyelet Border Punch. The Scallop Square and eyelet borders were adhered to a piece of 5"x7" piece of patterned paper, then adhered to a piece of cardstock. The stitches on the quilt were done by using the Stampin' Write Journaler.

You could also do this for a larger card (8 1/2" x 11" piece of card stock folded in 1/2). I would adhere the scallop circle with a dimensional and probably make the eyelet border thinner.
That is a cool idea!I am now following you from SC. www.lookatmycutestuff.blogspot.com
