I got this basic idea from Dawn's Stampin Thoughts.
I used Pumpkin Pie as the base (5 1/2" x 8 1/2"---folded in half) and ran it through the Big Shot using the Scallop Square die (I layed the fold just below the top scallop so that it wouldn't cut the fold). On a piece of Whisper White card stock (5 1/2" x 4 1/2") I laid and adhered 1 1/4" pieces of DSP (retired Pumpkin Pie), then ran it through the Big Shot using the Scallop Square die. I used the black Journaling marker to make X's (stitches) where the squares joined. I attached it to the front of my base, lining up the side scallops. I used the "Happy Birthday" from the After Thoughts Stamp Set stamped in Pumpkin Pie on Whisper White and added a bow at the top.
